I'm not quite ready to give ResearchGate the boot (will probably phase it out and delete it sooner than later), but moving forward I will primarily be relying on GoogleScholar and my Open Science Framework profiles. I'll be using these to maintain an updated list of published research (and perhaps pre-prints as well), in addition to the Research page here on my site. OSF has launched a new initiative/site (I first found out about it from Katie Corker) for posting pre-print and post-print manuscripts to make research "open" and more easily accessible. OSF's site PsyArXiv is indexed by GoogleScholar, and the work posted there remains freely and easily accessible. Given the preservation grants and funding being OSF and PsyArXiv, its clear the sites won't be going anywhere and that this will be a reliable way to make work available essentially in perpetuity.
Check them out and consider doing the same for your work moving forward.
